Jason is one of Playback's "5 to Watch"

Every year, Playback Magazine — Canada's most widely read film industry publication -— chooses five up-and-coming media professionals for its annual "FIVE TO WATCH" list, highlight the most exciting and promising talent in Canada, and this year Jason Filiatrault was very pleased to make the cut. Jason joined fellow recipients director Molly McGlynn, Joel Thomas Hynes, VFX wizard Akash Sherman, and actor Rebecca Liddiard on the exclusive list. Previous "Five to Watch" names have included Xavier Dolan, Stella Meghie, Sarah Gadon, Katie Boland, and Michelle Ouellet. The list has become one of Canada's premier spotlights for new talent.
