Jason Joins Netflix's "The Order"
Great news! We can finally announce that Jason Filiatrault has joined the writing staff of the new Netflix horror/drama series "The Order" – which was just picked up for a 10 episode first season to debut in 2019. Starring Jake Manley and Sarah Grey, The Order centers on college freshman Jack Morton (Manley), who joins a fabled secret society, The Order of the Blue Rose, where he is thrust into a world of magic, monsters and intrigue. As Jack goes deeper, he uncovers dark family secrets and an underground battle between werewolves and the magical dark arts.
Created by Dennis Heaton (Ghost Wars, Motive) and produced by Nomadic Pictures (Van Helsing, Hell on Wheels) The Order is described as a magical and terrifying journey to uncover everyone's true selves ... and the monsters that hide within. Other cast include (Altered Carbon), Sam Trammell (True Blood), and Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps).
Jason will be writing one episode this season while also working in the room on his first hour-long series. Which is very exciting.
The Order is expected to premier in March 2019.
